Ian has worked extensively on the client side, successfully made brands work harder for the business, and understands the complexities of making that happen in today’s business environment.
Ian specializes in professional services, financial services branding, research, and analytics. Before Presciant, as Global Brand Leader at PwC, Ian led the global brand transformation across 157 countries, a worldwide brand change that touched 250,000 clients, increased brand value from $9Bn to $22Bn and saw PwC voted the World’s Leading B2B brand in 2016. As marketing leader at Bank of America, Ian re-energized the $3Bn Treasury Services business creating a more aligned sales and marketing strategy and team. His work as marketing director for Rothmans International contributed to stabilizing the business during a highly volatile market.
Through applying a blend of analytical, strategic, creative, and practical thinking, Ian helps create breakthrough ideas while keeping brands rooted in addressing business challenges and translating their ideas into action. He has worked across various industries, including professional services, finance, and consumer products and services.
Educated in the UK, Ian holds a Postgraduate Degree in Marketing from Northumbria University Business School and an Honors Degree in History from the University of Essex. He has lived in the UK, Eastern Europe, and the US and worked across 30+ countries. He currently lives in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
